Chinese energy group Envision maintained sharp growth in its wind turbine business last year, reporting installations of 5GW and claiming a 25% share of its domestic market.

Envision said the 2018 additions represent a 50%-plus year-on-year increase and were accompanied by orders of more than 6GW, bringing its total order book to 13GW by the end of the year.

“Of the 20GW of newly installed capacity in the Chinese market for the whole of 2018, the Group's newly installed wind power capacity accounts for 25%,” Envision said in a statement.
