Vestas has received an order for 100 of its V120-2.2MW turbines for an unnamed project in the US, which pushed the Danish wind OEM’s order intake for this year above the 10GW mark.
The new order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines, with deliveries expected to start in the third quarter of next year, and commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2019.
