Offshore wind was a big winner in US mid-term elections as multiple governors that support commercial development along the east coast and in Hawaii won new terms in office, while pro-industry candidates prevailed in California and Connecticut.
Re-elected were Governors Charlie Baker in Massachusetts, a Republican; Andrew Cuomo in New York, a Democrat, and Gina Raimondo in Rhode Island, also a Democrat.
