Dallas-based Tri Global Energy led all investors during the third quarter with 3.52GW of wind power capacity under construction in Texas, the industry’s leading market in both the US and western hemisphere.
The company had 15 of the 28 projects under construction by 13 sponsors in the state, or more than 57% of the 6.14GW total capacity, according to American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) data.
