Siemens Gamesa-owned Adwen has agreed restructuring plans with labour representatives that will see its German production operations close, as the offshore wind business morphs into one focused on servicing its existing fleet.
Adwen opened talks with workers councils in June after announcing the restructuring, which will see 166 jobs cut as its production and repair operation in Bremerhaven shuts down by September 2020, with sites in Bremen and Emden also closed.
