Norwegian utility Statkraft has confirmed it is currently in negotiations on the acquisition of certain of businesses of Ireland’s Element Power.
A Statkraft spokesman could, however, not give further comment when asked by Recharge this morning.
According to the Energy Reporters website, Statkraft is looking to buy a large slice of Element Power’s wind farm developments in Ireland, both onshore and offshore.
