A flurry of orders reported by Vestas just before the end of the third quarter of 2018 this past weekend bodes well for the Danish OEM’s business next year, but also underlines its stated shift towards markets outside Europe.
Among the orders were a 181MW order for the Global Power Generation’s Berrybank Wind Farm in Australia’s Victoria state, 502MW in North American orders, a 100MW order for a project in India’s Gujarat state, and a 225MW order in Argentina.
