German utility Innogy has called on the UK government to renew its support for low cost wind on land as it inaugurated its 57.4MW Brechfa Forest West onshore wind farm in Wales.
Innogy chief operating officer Hans Bünting told Recharge that the UK “is one of our core countries, particularly for offshore wind. We see the support for offshore, but we would also like to have that for onshore wind”.
