President Donald Trump’s administration is providing nearly $9m in funding for 15 tribal energy infrastructure projects in the continental US and Alaska, most of them involving wind and solar PV.
The funding through the US Department of Energy (DOE) will enable Native American and Alaska Native communities to harness their vast undeveloped renewables resources to lower or stabilse energy costs, as well as increase energy security and resilience.
