EDC secured signatures from a group of foreign and domestic lenders for a mixture of dollar and Philippines peso debt over a 15-year term.
Overseas lenders include the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group, DZ Bank, ING Bank, Maybank and Norddeutsche Landesbank Gironzentrale.
Part of the dollar loan is guaranteed by EKF, the Danish export credit agency.
Burgos, in Ilocos Norte province, will use 50 3MW V90 wind turbines supplied by Danish wind group Vestas, which is also handling EPC at the plant.
