The UK offshore wind industry has announced a comprehensive supply chain review led by Martin Whitmarsh, the former head of the McLaren Formula 1 motor racing team.
The process aims to create a development plan allowing existing suppliers to maximise their benefits from the sector and draw new players into the supply chain, said the UK Offshore Wind Industry Council (OWIC).
