The Crown Estate has granted Vattenfall the seabed lease rights for a 300MW extension to its Thanet offshore wind farm, about 12km off the most eastern part of Kent in southeast England.
The UK’s seabed landlord stated that it intends to grant rights to the Swedish developer for a 300MW extension to the original Thanet offshore wind farm, 14km off Foreness Point, which has been operational since 2010.
