The European Commission hosted the first Clean Energy Industrial Forum in Brussels on Tuesday, as part of a series of pledges made in its Clean Energy Package to reinforce the competitiveness of EU renewables and the importance of research.
The forum, which aims to help EU industry take advantage of growth opportunities arising from the clean energy transition, kicked off with an opening speech from Miguel Arias Cañete, the European commissioner for energy and climate action.
