The Shell-led Blauwwind consortium has signed the grid-connection agreement with network operator TenneT for the 680MW Borssele 3&4 offshore wind project in Dutch waters.
The agreement marks another step forward for Borssele 3&4, which the consortium – also including Van Oord, Eneco and Mitsubishi/DGE – won in 2016 under the Netherlands’ rolling programme of tenders designed to contract 3.5GW for commissioning by 2024.
