The UK Green Investment Bank (GIB) has taken a 75% stake in the 270MW Lincs Offshore Wind Farm after buying out former investors Centrica and Siemens Project Ventures.

The GIB’s dedicated Offshore Wind Fund bought 44% of Lincs for £429m ($523m), while the bank itself took another 31% for £302m.

The Lincs deal means the OWF – set up as a world-first specialist offshore wind vehicle by the GIB – has assets of £1.12bn
