Germany’s Voith said that a joint venture it has with Siemens will get a name change in the second quarter.
The closely-held company said Voith Siemens Hydro Power Generation will be known as Voith Hydro beginning on 1 April.
Voith said it will continue to hold 65% stake in a joint venture with Siemens, which owns the balance in Voith Hydro. The hydroelectric turbine makers and power generation technology companies created the joint venture in 2000.
