Figures in the "Marine Energy in the UK" report underscore that Westminster and Holyrood have so far stumped up less than a third of the £120m seen as needed to get the marine renewable energy sector onto its feet, with an estimated £1.5bn spend required for the UK government to hit its Renewable Energy Roadmap 2020 target of 300MW installed.
