It has 30MW under construction in British Columbia, with 15MW more expected to begin construction in 2009. It already has three hydro projects operating in British Columbia, totalling 57.5MW. In all, Canadian Hydro has 1,525MW of renewable-energy prospects in the pipeline. By mid-June, it will have 694MW of wind, biomass and hydro in its portfolio when it completes construction of a project in Ontario.

Canadian Hydro Developers will spend C$500m ($407m) to build a 100-megawatt (MW) hydro project in Alberta. The Dunvegan project will be the biggest ever in the province.
