The 132 megawatt (MW) Pulangi V Hydro Project, part of a $900m proposed 300MW dam power project in Pulangi River in Bukidnon, is in the pre-development stage.
The $27m hydro project is jointly managed by Greenergy Development and First Bukidnon Electric Service Cooperative.
Cerael C. Donggay, president of Greenergy Development, says the project is critical to the residents of Mindanao, which is suffering power outages of six to eight hours each day.
