The two sides will focus on exploring opportunities to develop ocean tidal and offshore wind energy. They will bring together tidal energy academics, researchers, policy makers and private sector developers from the two jurisdictions.
The agreement was signed by Maine Governor John Baldacci and Noval Scotia Premier Darrell Dexter during the recent 34th annual Conference of the New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers held in Massachusetts.
