The Edinburgh-based company says that after a strategic review of its business, it concluded it should focus all its energy on bringing Oyster to commercial viability as soon as possible, as opposed to nurturing multiple technologies at once.
“The decision to stop any further work on Neptune is the right decision for us,” says Aquamarine chief executive Martin McAdam. “We will deploy our engineering team on making Oyster commercial in the shortest possible timeframe.”
