The leases cover a 10MW demonstration site called Galson between Siadar and Fivepenny, and the 30MW North West Lewis site – won under the Crown Estate’s recent ‘Saltire Prize’ round – between Bàgh Dhail Beag and Tràigh Shanndaigh.
Securing the acreage enables the Edinburgh-based company to start the environmental and feasibility studies needed to take the Isle of Lewis project forward.
