Generation at this level from the turbine, which flies 80-metre-long blades and has a three-stage geared drive-train, would meet demand from 13,500 households.
Jens Tommerup, chief executive of the Danish-Japanese OEM, said the record demonstrates the full capacity of the machine, the largest built to date by the wind power industry.
