Industry body SolarPower Europe (SPE) is calling on European policymakers to ensure the bloc captures of the benefits of combining solar power with rapid advances in battery storage as they reshape the EU’s power market.
“Now that the European Union has agreed on a 32% renewable energy target by 2030 in the Renewable Energy Directive, it is crucial to push for a powerful market design package,” said James Watson, CEO of SPE.
