Australia is set to build on its position as a global pacesetter in residential and utility-scale energy storage, said research group Wood Mackenzie Power.
The nation was the world’s biggest domestic storage market last year, tripling deployments over 2016’s figure, said Wood Mackenzie as it reacted to positive comments on the sector from Australian energy minister Josh Frydenberg and the nation’s chief scientist.
