Spanish power company Acciona Energía has signed a deal to supply 70% of the power needs of Chilean water and sewage company Aguas Chañar with output from its self-owned solar PV and wind plants in the country.

The long-term PPA started on 1 February and will be supplied by Acciona Energía’s 246MW El Romero PV plant and by the 45MW Punta Palmeras wind farm.
