US player GE and UK digital energy infrastructure company Arenko Group have inked a strategic alliance to build grid-scale energy storage systems in England.
The companies will use GE’s battery technology solution, power electronics and advanced controls, and Arenko’s knowledge of operating batteries and proprietary energy trading software platform.
Under their partnership, GE will deliver a 41MW battery energy storage system capable of responding more quickly and effectively than traditional energy technologies to meet real-time demand of consumers.
