Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has confirmed it is working with US electric mobility and battery pioneer Tesla to develop new integrated energy storage solutions, as one of a small number of pilot projects which could help to lower energy costs.
Sources indicated that Vestas has been working on three main energy hybrid storage projects with different vendors for several years, but is now adding to that number.
