Initially, I wrestled with taking the job. At the time, wind was known as niche, expensive and irrelevant. But it was also emerging and exciting. We were on the verge of becoming something.

I would be part of a vibrant power source that was on the cusp of becoming mainstream. And, as an experienced GE engineer, I saw ways we could leverage technologies, operating processes and ideas from GE’s power-generation expertise.

Another
