The first phase of the agreed project will centre on a prototype designed for “typical wave conditions” near Turkey’s coastline, with a pilot facility fine-tuned during 2010.
Following testing of the installation, Ünmaksan and Langlee aim to develop the full-scale wave energy farm, bringing the total investment cost to around NKr1bn ($165m).
