The US-based company’s eTec subsidiary secured the arrangement from British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (BC Hydro) to develop a “comprehensive blueprint” for installing electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the Canadian province
“This project allows BC Hydro to anticipate the potential introduction of clean electric vehicles (EV) throughout British Columbia,” said Bob Elton, president and chief exectuive BC Hydro.
Specifically, the contract will set the guidelines for building out infrastructure for electric transportation and set standards to streamline the process for residential and fleet EV customers to install equipment, the US comppany said.
