Rødsand 2 is being built south of the island of Lolland in Denmark. It is E.ON Climate & Renewables's sixth offshore wind farm and largest to date.
The 207MW project consists of 90 Siemens 2.3MW turbines arranged across a 34 sq km site.
E.ON says installation was expected to have been completed in the autumn, but that a combination of good weather conditions and the company’s wind farm experience allowed it to install one turbine per day over the last few weeks.
