The first phase array cables include 50 km of submarine cable and associated services, with a total value exceeding €7.8m. They will connect 55 turbines being installed in the first phase.

The full cable array will be the longest offshore tie back for the most rapidly developed wind farm project in the world.

The array cables will be manufactured at Parker Scanrope’s production facility in Toensberg Norway, and delivery will be during the first quarter of 2010.
