The claims emerged shortly after Yingli Solar — one of the world’s largest PV module suppliers — raised concerns about whether it will be able to remain solvent in the face of ongoing losses.
“The company has reviewed the claims asserted in the complaint and believes that they are without merit,” it said in an online statement, without specifically identifying the proposed lawsuit.
