Wuebbels has resigned his positions as president, chief executive and board member at both yieldcos, effective immediately.
The move means that Wuebbels will soon have left the SunEdison family altogether, as he is set to give up his other job – as SunEdison's chief financial officer – sometime next week.
The yieldcos – which are, at least in theory, run separately of one another and parent SunEdison – have both established an “office of the chairman” to be staffed by a quartet of independent directors led by Peter Blackmore, which will take on CEO duties on an interim basis.
