At 8.1MW, the installation breaks new ground for Germany’s cutting-edge commercial rooftopsegment, and Wirsol’s role within it.
The system, built in four weeks, incorporates 33,000 c-Si modules across 11 hectares of roofspace on a distribution centre in Baden-Württemberg, Wirsol’s home state.
“In this size, we usually build solar parks,” quips Dennis Seiberth, Wirsol’s president forlarge-scale projects.
Wirsol did not reveal what type of modules it used.
