“USAID and ADB have a shared interest in helping the Government of India achieve its clean energy targets,” USAID India mission director Jonathan Addleton said in an online statement.
According to a recently signed memorandum of understanding, the two institutions will also help to design feasible public-private investment models for the solar sector under USAID’s Partnership to Advance Clean Energy Deployment (PACE-D) scheme.
