Total PV installations in the US grew 7% year on year to 7,286MW, say the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and GTM Research. For comparison, in 2010 the US added 852MW.
All told, PV accounted for 29.5% of new generation capacity that went up in the US last year, with 13 states installing more than 100MW.
