Tenaska, which has 11GW of generation-capacity under management and another 5GW under development, has waded into solar energy in recent years but limited its exposure to the utility-scale sector.
Tenaska completed the 130MW Imperial Solar South project in California in 2013, and the 150MW Imperial Solar West project is currently under construction. First Solar has handled EPC work at both projects.
