Under-pressure Sharp insists it will stick with solar

Sharp energy chief Kazushi Mukai told reporters in Osaka there is “no truth to talk that we will quit, or sell, the solar business”, said Reuters.

Sharp has faced growing questions over its future in the PV industry after a high-profile restructuring of its activities over the last 18 months.
