UK investors Low Carbon and solar developer Nur Energie have unveiled plans to bring power to the UK from a CSP plant in southern Tunisia, having already spent €10m ($12.7m) carrying out early development work.
TuNur, the partnership developing the CSP plant, said it aims to win a contract for difference (CfD) from the UK government for the project, which would export power into the European grid.
