The system represents one of the largest solar-powered military communities in the United States with more than 10,000 solar modules installed on 650 roof tops. It is projected to generate more than 30% of the community’s annual energy usage.
True Green Capital Management which owns the installation also provided equity for the project.
The installation will help the Department of Defense – the largest energy consumer in the country – to meet sustainability goals.
