Trina told investors it now expects to ship between 3.61GW and 3.66GW, including up to 360MW to its own projects.
The company previously guided for 3.6GW to 3.8GW, with 400MW to 500MW of that amount destined for its own developments.
Trina said the cancellation came “after the company conducted a thorough analysis on the project's return”.
The PV group also said Chinese policy changes will affect the future development of its pipeline “to a certain extent”, although the company remains flexible.
