Chinese solar giant Trina Solar this year wants to expand into solar storage and also present its first bi-facial PV module, Gonzalo de la Viña, the company’s sales director for Northern Europe, told Recharge.
“We will have storage solutions for all kinds of systems, from private rooftops, commercial rooftops to utility scale. We have now closed the first deals for two containers for two big utility-sized projects,” de la Viña said, without giving further details of the storage technology Trina will offer, but disclosed that the containers already sold contain 1.2MW
