The project — located in Tahara, on the Atsumi peninsula near the city of Nagoya — includes 6MW of wind capacity, provided by three 2MW Hitachi turbines, a Toshiba spokesperson told Recharge by email.
It also features 50MW of solar, paired with a 35MW inverter.
The installation includes 26MW of monocrystalline solar panels and 20MW of polycrystalline PV modules, Toshiba said in an online statement.
