SunEdison has moved from being purely a solar developer to embrace wind, and has become an energy producer. Now it has set up a unit for electrifying remote areas with off-grid systems that combine PV with storage. Tomás García, general manager for the unit in the EMEA region, explains what kind of market the company sees for this new business, and where it is expecting the best opportunities.
