The Tokyo-based renewables developer has not yet chosen a PV module supplier for the projects, a company spokesperson tells Recharge.
It will install 10MW of solar in Aioi, Hyogo prefecture, between the historic city of Himeji and Setouchi, where Toyo Engineering, Kuni Umi Asset Management and General Electric's GE Energy Financial Services unit are developing a 231MW PV plant.
Terra Power will also build a 9MW array in Shibushi, Kagoshima prefecture, where Canadian Solar recently built a 1.2MW
