Fuel-cell company PowerCell Sweden has formed a partnership with Wallenstam, Midroc Automation and Hydrogen Sweden to conduct the pilot study. The aim is to hold joint demonstration project next year near PowerCell's premises in Gothenburg.
The study is being financed by the Västra Götaland Regional Council.
PowerCell's modular system of fuel cells produces electricity from hydrogen, with only heat and water as emissions.
