Under the agreement, China Huadian subsidiary Huadian New Energy Development (HNE) will be responsible for investments and the development of the solar projects, while Suntech will provide the solar modules, system design and technical support. Separate agreements will signed for each of the projects foreseen by the framework accord.
Projects developed through this collaboration may include solar projects previously announced by Suntech including those in Qinghai province; Shaanxi province; Shizuishan city, Ningxia province; Panzhihua city, Sichuan province; and Jiangsu province, the company said.
