California-based SunPower will deliver the modules to developer La Compagnie du Vent, a unit of the utility giant which will deploy them at four plants being constructed under the French national tender programme.
The first 12MW project has already been finished in France's Aquitaine region. Two more 12MW arrays and a 5MW plant are expected to be operating by the end of 2015.
